By air

The international airport of Pisa is 20km from Livorno and has a railway service which will take you to Livorno. The florence airport is 115km from Livorno and has too, a railway service to Livorno.

By car

Coming from the south take a1 motorway connecting Rome to Firenze nord, then a11 in the direction to Pisa and finally a12 to the Livorno turn-off; Livorno can also be reached by taking the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno higway, or the via Aurelia exit Livorno sud; go straight on into “Viale Nazario Sauro” when you reach “Barriera Margherita” (the old doors) turns left for fifty metres , you will then see a castle among the liberty villas which is  Hotel Gennarino.
coming from the south keep on the coast, pass “Baracchina rossa”, you will see the hotel just after “Caprilli’s horse racing”.
